radiation damaged hair folicles while killing any cells that may be lingering after surgery. Minimal problems with worsening my vision. Some chemical imbalances causing depression. I am thankful I could put my foot on floor and stand and I am functional. I would be a great volunteer because I am a compassionate person. I have good days ans some bad days but can function without high stress. Life would be so much easier if I didn't strugle to survive through non exceptance, I cant achieve. Relay for Life could help with an open program of compassion along with cure. We need a survival program. Some kind of incentive to hire and lend a helping hand once we are in remission.

Procedure or Surgery (Surgery): I had sinus headaches for years and my doctor told me thanks for helping pay for his mersades. He finall sent me to a neurologist where i turned my head to answer a question and lost my balance. Theh had already ordered me a catscan. When the doctor heard I was dizzy they called me to go to the emergency room a.s.a.p. They found the tumor and transfered me to St.Lukes Hospital for surgery the next morning. Aristocytoma malignant was diagnosis with 6 weeks therapy. I battle with depression from inabilities. radial problems starting to effect my right eye. I wonder looking back why i couldn't be on some kind disability so i wouldn't have to feel so unworthy with constantly having to battle for acceptance or inadequacy. My disability isntv visible and I am nt seeking pity only compassion. How do survivors survive after the illness that people raise millions to help disfigured or handicapped people survive for those ery same people tp reject and sometimes even crush..I was employed with Phillips Chemical Company at the time of my illness but they could not prove my job had any effects on my illness. I quit my job to keep from being fired. I was just sick at that time but within a year I had surgery. Nothing I could do.

You had headaches before or after your diagnosis? Because I have been suffering from migraines for a couple years now and it’s getting more frequent and painful? But I was diagnosed in 1997. Any other side effects?
They told me that chemo and/or radiation wouldn’t do anything, due to the fact that they don’t know much at all about the cancer.
