I think in internet. I got 2nd opinion last Friday and he agrees with you. Everthing in moderation. Celebrex is helping.

I was just diagnosed with the bone met., Feb. 4. Primary cqncer was diagnosed in 2002., invasive lobular. had lumpectomy, chemo, radiation. I am now taking anti estrogen pill, tylenol, and 1X shot for bone strength. I am losing weight and not liking it. I now have the body of my dreams which reminds me of, "be careful what you wish for". My pain, while now severe as yet, is constant. My energy level is down and has been since last summer. I have read that I must not eat red meat, fat , dairy. What is left? I have always eaten fruit and veggies. I certainly don't want to lose any more weight! I go for second opinion today.

Where have you read that you must not eat red meat, fat, or dairy. Fat and calcium (which is high in dairy products) are required by everyone, and especially you since you are concerned about about weight loss and bone strength. Red meat is an excellent source of protein, also vital to every diet. Fruits and veggies are also essential but if that is all you are eating, that may very well about for the weight loss.

Talk to your doctor about your pain levels. If tylenol is not controlling it, then you may need to try something else. When I was diagnosed with an arthritic knee, it tool several months and different meds to fine a pain killer that worked for me.

When I was first Dx and going through chemo I was loosing weight...more than I needed to....my onc tried to get me to drink Boost, Ensure or other similar drinks to get calories in me.....I told him NO....the thought of drinking them made me gag (still does) so I told him I would drink smoothies...he said it wasn't enough calories and I told him, it was more calories than if I didn't drink them!!!!
Who told you not to eat red meat, dairy etc.....I'm not dietician or expert in any sense, but I've never heard of this restriction.

Hi Cordy33 - I know this might sound weird to you, but I highly recommend meditation. It can help so much with the pain, the stress, anxiety - I have a free download on my website for a nice guided meditation that might help you. If you need any help with it, let me know. Here's the link: http://marnieclark.com/guided-meditation/ When you get to that page, just click on the words "White Light Meditation" below the picture and you can hear it. You can also save it to your computer. Hope that helps xox
