Thank you all for helping out. I've got a Head CT today to rule out some things. WHEN it comes back clean I'll work on some other options...

I am relieved that you didn't experiment with various drug store remedies. Talking to your doctor brings relief in a few ways. The first is that if it is something that needs treatment, you can get it quickly. The other is that the doctor thinks beyond the pain in your head to other things (not necessarily cancer) that may cause it. I get migraines everyonce in a while, sometimes due to a tension producing situation. But having one every day would wear me down and make me wonder if everything is all right. So it's good to have some lab tests and the CT scan just to make sure. Then you can be on the road to feeling fine again.

      Hi,
I have a medical condition that causes very bad headaches that are sometimes non stop and meds do not really help. I use cold packs on the back of my neck and head, alternating with heat. The cold seems to work the best for me. I hope you find an answer, Tracy

Still waiting on the results of Monday's CT (pelvis/abdomen/chest) I've got an appointment with my oncologist tomorrow to go over the results.
** new issue/ possible symptoms?*** I've been having headaches non stop for 2 weeks that started with a migraine, I've passed out 2x and was out for hours each time. I saw my primary care doc and now I'm scheduled for a Head CT w/contrast on Friday after my oncology appt. This has me even more anxious.

Sorry for the new problems, seems like we can't get a break, every time I think things are fine life comes and kicks me in the knee. Hope your scan is a good one tomorrow!

Hopefully today's scheduled CT will go as planned. Thursday was a complete cluster ***. I've shared about that below. I spent from thursday until now stressing... I know I shouldn't I'm just worried about recurrence and trying to get a handle on it.
I'll update once I get the results.

Sorry for a sucky day, hope things get straightened out for you, hoping for no recurrence for you. I have a bit of that worry right now myself, so I am right there with you brother.

Procedure or Surgery (CT): Doctor's office flubbed on submitting the order to the CT dept at the hospital (they're both in the same building!) When I called the office they told me that the person I'd talked with who stated she faxed in the office was "incorrect" and that I had to come in for a check-up type appointment before scheduling my CT (which was in direct contradiction to my Oncologist's orders a year ago when I got my last CT). I asked for the order to be faxed in. My Dr. was "unavailable" according to the office rep I spoke with. I had to cancel my CT appt ( for which I'd left work 3 hrs early to get to) and reschedule everything. I later recieved a voice mail from the same Oncology office rep apologizing because she hadn't read my orders correctly and had faxed in the order (this was a day later). I was so aggravated I almost went upstairs to the Oncology office to vent at the lady... I didn't. I chose instead to take a drive to sooth the savage beast with music....
