I'm sorry to hear that you feel as if you are running out of options. Tell us more regarding this situation. I have a suspicion there may be others that have been in a similar situation and could possibly share their findings with you.

Please don't give up hope and do elaborate some more on this!

Not sure what you have tried up to this point. But as someone already suggested, don't give up hope. Three months ago I thought I might be without options. I don't feel that way now. I tried the ipilimumab without apparent success. At that point in discussions with my oncologist the options were do nothing (I was not in any pain), temadar, dartmouth regimen, or possibly clinical trials. Clilnic trials are usually not an option when there is brain involvement which I have to a serious degree. Dartmouth makes feel sick most of the time. So my wife and I studied temadar and decided to try it. So far the bloodwork has looked good and next week I will have PET-CT scan to see if any positive results after three rounds. Since I started the temadar, I developed compression fractures in a number of my vertebrae which is the cause of some severe pain so that I can barely move. Back MRI and discussion with radiation oncologists are suggesting that a procedure called vertebroplasy that may address the fractures, the pain, and get me back on my feet. My feeling has been to doing everything I can to stick around until my time runs out, but not quit trying. Every hour, every minute is precious.

pain hard to control. Cancer rapidly spreading. Receiving radiation on third area. Have tried interferion and yervoy both of these drugs did not work. Running out of options. Insurance won't cover a drug that another patient had luck with. Anybody out there have any suggestions

Hello, I think you raise some good questions, and suggest that you also post in our Questions section. You can do this by clicking on Questions in the purple bar above and then typing in the text box. In the meantime we have had quite a few discussions about pain. i thought it might help for you to read through some of them. https://www.whatnext.com/questions?utf8=✓&question_query=pain
