It's good I know I'm not the only one dealing with this but it's also discouraging that our life saving ordeal can leave us "alive" by with diminished "life". Yesterday I had a list in my head of what I wanted to accomplish knowing it was unrealistic and maybe I'd get one thing on the list done. Before I got started I was overcome with weariness and needed to lie down for "a few minutes" before I got into my tasks. I woke up at 4 :30! I had one doctor admonish me that I needed to just be grateful I was alive and quit complaining. I sometimes question whether it was all worth it.

Absolutely! I get so impatient with myself. I've always been a pusher, someone who was everybody else's strength. Now I don't have the energy most days to do the necessary things around my house. The doctors all say this is normal, but it's not my normal.
