Celebration (Integrative Medicine!!!!!): I had a skin rash for over a year. I saw dermatologists, family doctors and my oncologist. None of the solutions were helpful. I was prompted by friends to try acupuncture. On my first visit the doctor told me that most skin irritations are diet related. He recommended a big change in my diet. No Meat, dairy, caffeine, sugar, salt, alcohol, fried food. UGGG it was tough and I really hoped it wouldn't work...But it did! Rash gone and feeling way better. It has been 7 weeks and I am getting the hang of vegan eating and cooking. I call myself a reluctant vegan!

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Targeted therapy): Zelboraf. I have been taking it for over 2 1/2 years. It is working great! No new growth and no visible tumors for 15 months. I continue to deal with side effects daily...Especially sun exposure and memory issues.

Great to hear. March 2015 will mark five years for me on Zelboraf. I'm curious about your rash. I've had a rash since starting Zelboraf (documented side effect); it's quite mild now but was very heavy the first eighteen months or so. These days it is restricted to my torso and arms. It used to also be on my legs but never on my face.
