Procedure or Surgery (BIOPSY During Colonoscopy): There is evidence to suggest that the biopsy is responsible for furthering my mother's cancer into the lymphatic tissue, creating a Stage III cancer by the time her surgery took place 3 weeks later. One study showed that within 7 days of biopsy, colon cancer cells had been embedded into lymphatic structure of colon wall. Also, what happens, is that any kind of "assault" on a tumor initiates a response from those cells. A wound healing response would initiate the release of hydrogen peroxide, which also signals an enzyme called Lin, to trigger the inflammatory immune response, which brings blood supply for new vessels, directly to cancer cells.

I did not realize then, that there were immediate steps my mother could have taken to prevent further spread of cancer from biopsy. I would recommend others take precaution and research this for themselves. Please investigate the use of cimetidine (over the counter tagment) at 800mg per day. And also the use of 1 to 5 grams of tumeric (curcumin) everyday.

I will not give medical advice because I am not medical practitioner. But I do suggest reading and seeking this information for you and your team to review and discuss. What's great about these two products ... low-cost, no risk, no side effects and tumeric offers many benefits for the body.

Oh No (Diagnosed): We were informed that the cancer was so small, if it could be labeled stage 0, it would be. Surgery was required because the cancer was on a polyp that could not be removed during the colonoscopy.
