My friend used canabis while he was in hospice care. It helped him a lot.

Are you within a hospice facility or a hospice at home? Do you have a caretaker or advocate helping you with this situation? I would suggest having a conversation with the nurse who checks in. Patients in this condition are given a wide-range of pain relievers and usually by a month should not be having pain at all. In fact a big majority of patients with that length of time in hospice are comatose due to their pain relievers.

My MIL was given plenty of pain meds while on hospice at home. Her comfort was their biggest concern with two types of cancer. She often chose not to take them because she didn't like the way they made her feel(sleepy). The nurses coordinated beautifully with her oncologist to make sure she had every thing she needed.

Decision Point: hospice or ?? dr said get pain under control first before any more treatment . on hospice 3 weeks now and still no pain control . scared cancer is quickly getting worse
