tongue fasciculations - side effects from radiation in the neck?

I am not experiencing fasciculations, but increased paralysis of the right side of my tongue along with some vocal chord paralysis has definitely affected the quality of my speech. My cancer grows along nerves, so it's hard to know what might be caused by post radiation nerve degeneration and what might be cancer progression. I hope you are able to control your symptoms!

Thanks tbc57 . You're the first person I've come across with similar symptoms, Thank you for responding... What do you use to communicate by phone or out in public? I have a couple of voice amplifiers, but the quality is not great and as my speech slurs, speech clarity has been the real problem (and of course the breathing part).. I'm also playing around with text to speech software, for functional phone use and some business conference calls...Tried any of these?.

Radiation (External radiation ): Radiation treatment was terrible.. loss of ability to swallow, loss of saliva, illness, weakness severe dehydration, forced onto feeding tube .... but it was virtually a blur....

Celebration (Other): While, I've gone through treatment, side effects, and dramatic life shifts I'm cancer Free. I lead a normal life, healthy, beautiful family, young daughters and have a thriving career in the Advertising industry. The limits of voice quality, have forced me to focus me to be a different type of leader that is NOT always out front. I listen better, watch dynamics of people and realize the simple things are important. This has had a profound impact on who I am and while it's tough - day-in and day-out, I'm happy with my life and the outcomes thus far.
