      Hi-
I am 9 months post R-CHOP and have grown about 2 inches worth of hair (I've trimmed neck and sides waiting for the top to catch up). It has seemed slow to me, but now I have a "normal" short haircut that doesn't cause anyone to do a double take when they see me. I am hoping for faster growth the longer the time post-chemo! (Hair color came back ugly--so far the best color result has come from a shop that does organic color, and I think it's probably safer.)

in my case, I lost them in the second to third month after starting chemo and they started to grow again sometime around the 06 month of chemo..........now they are stronger and darker.........don't be so worry about them because they will come back......remember died hair but you are here, alive and strong to keep fighting........Your hair will come prettier when it is time and if you want in this mean time you can wear a wig and see yourself in different colors and styles......you are much more than your hair.........don't let it fall you in.......God bless we all.....

Thanks everyone! My hair is coming back very slowly and like peach fuzz. I dyed it before treatment so it's all grey/white and I will keep it that way :) I would absolutely love no arm pit hair @ Carol3 :) would like my eyebrows back though :)

Well, I have those problems, but I don't think they are side effects. I count it toward getting older, but you are much younger than I (64 here). :) Make sure to mention it to your doctor. It very well could only be temporary. Congratulations on your last treatment! Celebrate!!!

Good Luck and prayers to you! I will be finishing my sixth and (hopefully) last round next week for Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. I didn't get sick at all but did get tired especially for the first two days. Chemo was thankfully "okay" for me. I would announce that "we are killing cancer today" on my chemo days :)!! Keep as positive as you can and you will be fine!
