After my surgery last year to remove colon cancer, I pushed myself to get moving again. Some days it was all I could do to get out the door to the street. I would walk 3 houses on either side of my house so close to get back home if needed to go to the bathroom or to just rest. I slowly extended the time that I walked from 20 min to 40 min and then slowly was moving faster. You just have to be determined to get it done.
