It's good to know that other people have been through exactly what you are facing now and have gone on to a good life afterward.

    Decision Point (Upon diagnosis you are asked what cancer treatment do you want ): As the most uninformed decision makers in room at that time you are making life and death decisions - nice if your team leaned one way or the other

    Just saw your journey which sounds a lot like mine. It's posted on WN. My original diagnosis was about 10 years ago. Standard surgery Feb.'10, followed by 2 months radiation and 4 years hormone therapy including Lupron. Thankfully, feeling good now at 79. Best to all survivors. Love life everyday.

    Drug or Chemo Therapy (Hormone therapy): Lupron prior to radiation - not fun 6 month shot effects ... lasted 15 months
