Michael,
I was diagnosed 7 years ago with a PSA level of 10 and a gleason score of 6. I had the Divinci Robotic Surgery to have my prostrate removed. The biopsy after the surgery determined that the gleason score was actually 7. If you look at all of the options, the side effects are very similar on what ever treatment you choose. The key is to choose the treatment you feel most comfortable with and choose a doctor that has some good experience and a good track record. When I'm choosing a new doctor, I go with a list of questions and don't feel at all bad about asking the doctor everyone of them. If he can't answer them, then I cross him off of the list. Good Luck to you.Dennis
