I'm so sorry for your loss. Your husband's attitude is nothing short of inspiring. I so needed to read something like this today. I am so touched that he thought of this community even as his own journey came to an end.

Loss (Lost loved one): To all on What's Next. On October 26, 2015, my best friend and husband of 34 years made he next step in his life's journey. Surrounded by his family he went home to heaven. We are sad, lost and yet ever so grateful for the many precious and few moments we shared together and individually with him. During the last 2.5 years since he was diagnosed with PC he woke with a smile ready to enjoy and embrace another day..even those chemo days as he felt the chemo would bring him more life. He stated he would be ready if God had other plans. His charge to all of you...smile, enjoy the small things like the smell of freshly ground coffee.....live and love today!
