Hi Destiny, the unknown is scary and yes with treatment do come side effects. However, side effects vary from person to person, so it doesn't mean you will get all of them. The best thing you can do is prepare yourself by educating yourself on ways to minimize the effects and ways to comfort yourself during treatment. Feel free to ask any additional questions you may have by using the "questions" section. You will get plenty of feedback and support that way. I am also going through treatment right now so feel free to ask me anything. :) Sending hugs your way.

Destiny2012 posted an update
I am starting five week treatment with radiation and once a week small does of Chemo.
I have been reading so much and listening to so many stories. I am kinda getting a little worried with side effects etc. I have only heard so little on positive stories from ladies that have overcome this. Also with the cervix closing and pain after having sex even if you use the dilator to help keep open. I will return later to write more. Thanks hope I get a least one respone.1 Comment -
