Decision Point: Does anyone have experience with uterine papillary serous carcinoma? My mother was diagnosed in 2008. The cancer returned in Feb. of this year. She has been on Carboplatin and paclitaxel, but the Carbo was stopped because of difficulty tolerating. Her CT scan showed new spots in her liver. Her doctor suggested stopping chemotherapy for 3 weeks to prepare for a clinical trial. He offered only one trial to us and his RN told us to look at www.clinicaltrials.com Its an overwhelming process. Presently, she feels well. As long as she is experiencing a good quality of life, she wants to fight. I would love to hear from someone who has had success with this diagnosis. Thank you.
