I have finished chemo and radiation and my hair is finally growing back. My problem is that it's growing where there never was hair before!

Having always had limp silky noodle hair I was thrilled when mine came back in coarse and appearing thick, never mind that the general public mistook my proud short bristles for a gay haircut, but it has since settled back to limp noodles. Dang.

My hair came back super curly. When it first came back it was out of control - eye brows bushy, hair on my face and way down on the back of my neck. I finished chemo in Feb. 2012 and finally in June I had to go get the back of the neck cut. I told the hair stylist to just cut the back to control it and not touch the front. I used a depilatory on my face (only had to use it once then the growth got back to normal). I've since had two more hair cuts and have to keep it short because it is so dang curly and wild. Other than the curly part now it seems to have settled down into the old growth pattern.

Thank you so much for answering my question. You all made me feel so much better. I am not the only one with strange things happening to my hair. I do have a wig but I am not really satisfied with it. Has anyone had a good experience with any particular brand of wig?
