I read in a booklet in my doctor's office to make a solution of a pint (2 Cups) of water with 1/2 tsp. of soda and 1/2 tsp. of salt dissolved in it. It said to rinse several times a day with it. I do, especially after brushing my teeth and it is a huge help with getting rid of the slimy saliva.
