Procedure or Surgery (Sentinel lymph node biopsy): During the initial surgery, removal of the tumor... they moved on to the sentinel lymph nodes and found another tumor larger is size that they didn't know was there. When I woke up they explained that the surgery did not go as expected as there was a second tumor found involving the lymph nodes. They had to removed more breast tissue than anticipated and I had a drain that I was expected to measure the fluid my body expelled.
