Celebration (Getting my life back): After 18 long hard months, in March I went back to work. I was told that I shouldn't expect to ever go back to work, so this is a major celebration to me! And I also wanted to report that working is so much more enjoyable after being told I wouldn't be able to! Who would of thought I could get so much joy out of getting up at 4:30 am and going to clean an elementary school?! But, I so do!!! Praise God for all He has done and will continue to do in my life!

Couldnt find actual diagnosos in list. I have peritoneal cancer. Have had complete hysterectomy and omentumectomy. Lost my job and am awaiting SSI approval. Never been sick before diagnosis other than common cold/flu. Am keeping positive and trusting God will see me through this. I do have a question and would like honest answers: What have you been told is your life expectancy?

Hi dummyram. I am going to suggest you also post this in our Questions section. You can do this by clicking on Questions in the purple bar above. Questions are directly routed to others with a similar diagnosis so you can get relevant perspective. Please let me know how else I can help.
