Decision Point (Just waiting for 100 day post bone marrow transplant): At one hundred days post transplant, will do a bone marrow biopsy to see if Luekemia is gone. If it is clear and no GVHD and no other infections/problems--drs will allow me to go back to Idaho and continue to be monitored there. With a trip to SLC once a month.

Other Care (Home care): Came down with a CMV infection, so had to do infusions at home (twice a day) and a magnesioum solution once a day via central line. But at least I am in apartment--still not at home in Idaho.

Side Effects (GVHD (graft vs. Host Disease)): I did get a small amount of GVHD in the form of a rash. Luckily a prescription cleared it up with in a week.

Side Effects (Allergic reaction): Had many of the reactions listed above. Big time rashes, mouth sores, sor throat, nasuea, taste buds were gone, couldn't eat, hard time breathing. Very long 6 weeks in hospital. Was released 6 weeks after being admitted (4 weeks after transplant.)

Procedure or Surgery (Bone Marrow Transplant): Still in hospital. Transplant went well--just like a blood transfusion. A few days after transplant all side effects from chemo/radation and low blood counts started to take effect.
