My emotional state has left a WHOLE LOT to be desired lately! I have been feeling SO useless and worthless to my family. My house stays messy, my daughter doesn't get "Mommy-time" like she should, and I haven't been able to sleep in the bed with my husband because of my pain. I am more comfortable (such as it is) in my recliner in the living room. Sometimes I wonder how much more of this I can take, emotionally... I am SO sad and depressed...

Other Care (Whole Body Bone Scan): I am scheduled for a whole body bone scan to find out what is going on with "bone islands" and elevated calcium levels. This will take place November 21, 2012.

Oh No (Oncologist unsure of "bone islands"): Back when I had my PET scan, a couple of months back, my oncologist stated that there were "some places on my bones" but he didn't think they were much to be concerned about. When I saw him last week, following my last blood labs, he stated that he is not convinced that the previous statement concerning my bones was true. My calcium levels are now elevated and he says when that happens that there is usually "something going on with the bones." Dear Lord, when will this end? I am SO worried,... again.

Celebration (Received my Mastectomy Supplies!!!): I felt like a child at Christmas when my delivery came with my new mastectomy bras and prostheses! I was SO happy! It really felt good to "look" complete again! I even sleep in the "leisure" prosthesis most nights...
