Hi Carm, I am just a little scared the doctors give it to you straight . I like that just a little had to handle sometime . Life expectancy is not too long, but I believe in miracles.

      Edie54,
I can understand your concerns and I know it can be overwhelming but you have to take each moment as they come and stop looking at time in the span of months or years. Time is man made, in reality it does not exist. What does exist are the moments. Step into one and then out and into the next as they lie out before you. You will find a life of endless moments. There is nothing wrong in believing in miracles and sometimes it is less than a miracle that might turn the tide. Never listen to the prognosis or someone selling you a life span. Look to your husband. When his will to live becomes the will to leave, then it is the correct time and not one moment before. Best of luck to you, remember that I am here if you need me, Carm.

      Hi Edie,

I hope you will fill in some of the details of your journey so we know how best to support you. You did not specify what drug you are taking in clinical trial. Hope to hear more from you soon, and that you are tolerating treatments with little or no discomfort.

      Best regards,
      Johanna McKenna

I just noticed that you are from Leechburg. My mother was from Leechburg, and I still have tons of family out that way. I will be out there this summer for our family reunion. :-)

Hi Deborahgrammie., we have been down that road , if you have any question please feel free to ask. His diagnosis was September 2013 . He is now receiving oral chemo 5 days a month. He will be doing this till the end of the year.
