Hi Elaine, I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. I honestly don't recall exactly what side effects I had, it was 8 years ago that the HAI pump installed. I DO know that I worked through it. Then again, I've worked through all of it. I still have very mild neuropathy in my hands and feet. The biggest issue with what I'm on now are these small growths on my big toes (all three of them) that hurt like... a lot.
How are you holding up?

Congratulations on your continued success in fighting this disease. I an also receiving treatment at Sloan for colon cancer which has spread to my liver. I just had surgery a couple of weeks ago for a liver resection and pump placement. I start chemo this week and I was wondering what side effects you had. I had such violent reactioins to my prior chemo that I am a little nervous. I still have the neuropathy in my hands and feet that just won't go away. That I can manage, but I would like your input so I can have a realistic expectation of what's ahead. Thanks so much for your posts.
