Congratulations on being 2 years cancer free! Have a wonderful holiday and enjoy any time you get to spend with family/friends. I hope that your 2 year cancer free time ends up to be years longer than that. Your comment made me very happy!

Wow! How much did that trip cost and where do you live? I would love to go to Vinnie if it really is that good! Thanks

Thanks for answering about nipples. I went to the pink perfect site and they were very helpful. Are you in Colorado? On this site they won't let you give phone # or e-mails! (Yet)

      Hi Evelyn,
Yes, it's no longer easy to exchange emails. When I first joined you could. No, I do not live in Colorado. I live in PA. I will ask Greg to send you my email and see if it can happen that way. Best wishes! Sandy

Hi, my cousins live in PA! My parents were born in Mercer and Sharon PA! So a trip to MD wouldn't be too far for you to go have tatoos done by Vinnie. Are you thinking about that?

Oh, yeah. I did go to Pink Perfect and ordered my nipples. I am going to try them for awhile. It will be one year in March since my last surgery for reconstruction revision so I will see if I still want to do that by then.

My reconstruction was done in December 2013. I also did not have enough skin to pull up to make a nipple during my reconstruction. But my plastic surgeon did a great job. So right now I'm stuck with my "Barbie boobies". I truly need the finishing touch of the nipples. I have researched nipple tattoo artists and think my best bet is to go to Vinnie Myers in MD. From what I've seen he does an amazing job! I feel if you're going to get nipple tattoos they better look as real as possible. I've seen some really crummy "disc" looking nipple tattoos, and I don't want that. Unfortunately I live in Montana and the airfare to Maryland is outrageous. But, I'm going to get there someday... Good luck Evelyn!

Hi, I had 3 d tatooing with a plastic surgeon in Youngstown, Ohio and I am very pleased with it. I have talked with a lot of ladies in our support groups and they all agree that they wished they did 3 d tatooing..The ones that had the nipples feel that they have to cover them if they wear something that is sheer. This way if I want to wear something that is sheer and no bar I know that I will feel good amount myself and comfortable.

I had nipple reconstruction and tattooing a month ago by my PS in his office. He did a great job matching the color with the other side, the size and everything. The nurse did tell me the tattoo would fade over time like any tattoo and that they've had ladies come in after 10 years to have the tattoo redone.
