Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): I just did my 6th round of high dose chemotherapy. I have to agree with a few posts on here. Believing and having hope and faith in Christ has had a positive effect in my treatment. Also not easy and intense it was bearable and capable of getting through it. I was told quite often by nursing staff that my postive and good attitude was a big part of my recovery. I responded very well to my chemo. I'm waiting on a bone marrow biopsy result, but Dr. Said a transplant is not necessary at the moment. At the start I often wondered if I would ever get through this and I'm doing. Encourage others to get a good support system and keep a positive fighting attitude. My family and friends were awesome. Don't be scared to share your heart and concerns with them and ask for help.

I'm feeling pretty good right now. I have had a hard time getting my strength back. My primary tumor was on my tailbone, and it did a lot of damage. I spend an awful lot of time NOT sitting. LOL Are you going to have radiation? I didn't have it, but some people do.

No radiation or surgery. Yeah I'm getting my strength and weight back. I had lost 20 lbs...rapidly. I'm only about 9 lbs short of my normal weight. I've had a dozen people tell me how healthy and good I look , especially the nurses that saw me when I first got admitted and diagnosed.

Well I'm on my 4th round of chemo treatment. Doctor is telling me I'm responding well and they even increased my dosage last round and this one. I've been told keeping a good attitude helps and I have along with my strong faith in God. There were days that I didn't seem to b think I would be normal but keep pressing on and keep fighting it is worth it. I feel the best I have since all this started just a little over 2 months ago.
