Drug or Chemo Therapy (Synthroid): My body has to now get use to taking a pill everyday for the rest of my life. I have never been a pill taker or user. Its been a little difficult in the beginning as I had some nausea. I knew i had no choice and needed time for the adjustment period. Since it has now been 2 1/2 weeks from my surgery. i no longer have nausea. So far so good...

Procedure or Surgery (Surgery): Surgery done a month after being diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Had a total thyroid-ectomy. Also had a lymph nodes removed as well. Notice a little change in the voice, but no real hoarseness or swallowing problems post surgery.

Procedure or Surgery (Ultrasound/Biopsy): Blood work showed everything is normal. Doctor said lets just go ahead and do an ultrasound. Ultrasound showed 6 nodules. One of them had calcium deposits. Due to those deposits did a biopsy of that nodule. Turned up cancer.
