Gabriella33,
I assume that your mom is on Doxil Liposomal, and gets treatment every 4 weeks. It usually takes 2 to 3 treatments before it reaches a therapeutic level. Until then, her number will rise. However, if a scan showed progression, and she has had 3 treatments, then I would switch if it were me. The scan always tells the story. I hope the treatment works if you decide to stick with it. Sarcomas are hard to treat. Best of luck, Carm RN.
