I hear you. Some of mine went as long as 9 or 10 hours when they added in blood transfusions, or extra fluids.

Celebration (Finished treatment): I finished treatments in November of 2008. I had my last radiation treatment while my daughter was in the hospital for a nasty stomach flu.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): Once a week while I was having radiation therapy I would also have chemo therapy. I had the drug Cisplatin. While the nausea was not fun I would have to say the part I least liked with sitting there for the 6 hour long treatment.

Oh No (Met with specialist): At my 6 week surgery check up I got to meet with the specialist that did my surgery and I knew that something wasn't as it seemed. After a lengthy explanation I was told that I had to have more treatment.

Procedure or Surgery (Radical hysterectomy): I went into the operation not knowing if it was going to be a same day surgery where they checked my lymph nodes and decided to leave everything and send me for chemo and radiation therapies or if they were just going to take it all. As I was coming out of anesthesia I heard the nurse say that they were waiting on my room upstairs to be ready... That's how I knew they went ahead with the radical hysterectomy.
