Hi DaveWaz, I was recently sent an email from DeltaQuest Foundation to do a survey, I just wanted to see if you have heard of them. They said that they have my name and email address from WhatNext. Is it a scam or something like that?

      Gdytko,

Thank you for checking. If the from email, ends in @whatnext.com, the opportunity is real. From time to time we are approached by different researchers to help them find folks to participate in various market research opportunities. When we have these opportunities we email WhatNexters who MIGHT qualify. I suspect that is the type of email you received.

Please note that at no time do we share any of your personal information with any third parties. The only way they might know you exist is if you qualify for study and give us explicit approval to share your information so you can participate.

      I hope this helps.

      David

Oh No (Having episodes of Aspiration when sleeping has caused Asthma.): I would have episodes of aspiration maybe once or twice a week. Usually I could cough it out and it's only a little amount but the burning from the stomach acids has caused its damage. I woke up early morning one day and it wasn't bad at first. I thought I was fine, but as I was trying to cough it got harder to breathe. Thankfully I had an old rescue inhaler from a few years ago when I had some bronchitis symptoms. It still worked and I felt my breath come back. Later in the day I ended up going to the ER after nonstop vomiting and heaving. They did a chest x-ray and said they saw some issues and for me to go see my primary doctor. They thankfully didn't see any infections but I should make an appointment with my doctor. A couple days later at my appointment, I failed the breathing tests and he put me on the Asthma inhaler and a new rescue inhaler.

Yes, they help a lot. I took breathing for granted before that happened. It's a great relief having the inhaler now, for when I need it.
