Because of the type and location of my cancer radiation and surgery were the only available treatments for it. I have lots of side effects left over from it but no, I do not regret it at all.

IF you can, look always forward. We are all damaged goods - that is the "cost of living" once cancer strikes. We adapt, compensate, tolerate, whine, moan, groan, curse, swear, but always move forward. I mean, you had a good chance that it would work, so at the time, it was completely reasonable.
I tried 12 different drugs and the danged stuff defeated it all, mutated into two types and brought a third cancer along with it. I do not regret the fight - it happened for a reason and I am better and stronger in some ways because of it.

My original surgery was in 2012. Since then I feel the need to wear a mini pad.
