I had the seromas develop several times. They were quite painful and felt better after they were drained. The seromas were occurring at the same time I had lump growing and celluitis. Received antibiotics for the skin infection, but lump didn't go away. Had lump removed (it was scar tissue from radiation) and haven't had a seroma since.

Why wasn't your drain left in until the seroma stopped? My doctor's wouldn't take my drains out until I was draining less than 30 ml a day. You shouldn't have to be going through this continually. I would ask the doctor about the drain and why it wasn't left in until the draining stopped. Good luck. I hope it gets taken care of for you.

I agree with nancyjac - lymphatic massage is really helpful for this kind of thing. Find someone who also uses essential oils because the oils can really assist the healing process. (I'm a massage therapist, which is why I know this will help you). Hugs!
