Side Effects (Blood sugar, high (diabetes)): The steriods elevated my sugar and I went over 600. Now I am on isulin.

Radiation (External radiation ): I had 5 radiation treatments before I had chemo because the tumor was pressing on the superior vena cava (SVC) so I had SVC compromise.

Oh No (Diagnosed): I was shocked. I had no symptoms except I had been having shoulder spasms for months and they could find no reason. I finally asked my doc for a chest xray to see if the chest pressure I was having realyy was a knotted muscle. Well CT confirmed a spot on my lung. Biopsy confirmed SC cancer. PET scan confirmed contained to right lung.
