Decision Point (Discontinue cancer care visits.): After Dx with lewey body dementia, which I feel related to cancer. MD has seen handful of cases like mine, but rare. Experienced debilitating symptoms. Need catheter foley, delusions, fear, diff. swallowing , delirium and paranoia. Along with moments of forgetfulness. No longer having medical intervention. Decided hospice for end of live care. MD has encouraged this. Sadly passed away 12\11\2020 after 2 weeks at home. Penned by wife and caretaker per Dan's wishes.

Yikes! I had never heard of this. Thank you for bringing it to our attention but I am so sorry you now have to face this diagnosis on top of everything else. Is there any treatment for the condition?

Only meds to try and slow down disease. Cannot drive any longer or be independent. Thankful for family who love and support me.
