I had my tooth extracted after radiation and that was a big mistake. I wound up with osteoradionecrosis of the jaw bone. Please make sure and tell your dentist that you have undergone radiation treatment. My mouth is so dry and I'm having all kinds of issues with my teeth. Before doing radiation, I had to get my dentist to sign a paper that everything looked ok with my teeth. I believe my teeth were fine at that time but unfortunately, that has changed. If you need to have a tooth extracted, go to a Oral Surgeon.
