I don't think there is anything to be scared of. I have follicular lymphoma grade 3A Stage IV as well. I am doing treatment now and I am halfway thru the regimen with 3 to go. I feel good most days. I don't know why, or how but I do. Today I was thinking if I had not been told I had cancer I would not have know it by how I feel because I was feeling great. I found that knowledge is power, especially when it comes to fear. The more you know about your disease the less you fear it. Its different for everyone, I wish the best for you.

Hi, try not to be scared to start treatment, look at it as; you are beginning the fight that WILL save your life, I would be more scared if I wasn't in treatment, knowing that it was there inside me growing and I wasn't doing anything to stop it. By the time my NHL was discovered I was having enough significant symptoms that we never even discussed the watch and wait option. I was nervous about the whole thing, but am very glad I am doing something to fight it, I have grade 2, stage 4 follicular lymphoma. Hang in there.
