Results from a frozen section if they do one are available in the OR, but they are not as accurate as the overnight staining and cutting normally done in Pathology. Those can be available the next day in the afternoon unless the pathologist wants to run more specific tests. HER2 results take longer because the slides are usually mailed away for processing.

If your doctor's office has electronic records like BoiseB's doctor has, they are definitely available quicker than if the results are sent to your doctor on paper. Best wishes.

The waiting is the worst. I hope it won't be much longer for you. Let us know how it is going. Good luck. Take care.

Make sure you mention this to your doctor. When I started this journey, I waited FOREVER! Now have ‘deal’ with all my doctors that I get results when they do.

Has anyone told you that most breast cancer is not genetic? Best wishes to you.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Pain medicine): Used them at the beginning, now just Tylenol or Aleve, with IcyHot works when the pain flairs up.
