Hello , I am sorry that you had to find us here, but happy to see you found us. I have had NHL since O4, it has been some ride but always grateful for another day in Remission. I started our with surgery and 22 radiation therapies. Then was in remission till 09 .
Then it came back stage 4 and with bone marrow involvement . But happy for every day God gives me. I wish you all the best in the world. Pleas let us know how you are doing. Hilde

Hi Debbie, Just read the good news about your journey. Glad and happy you are in remission. I have been in remission since 09, I was diagnosed in 04, did have a swelling in my left neck and also had the surgery, then 22 radiation treatments. Was home free till one week away from 5 years. It came back as stage 4 in my bone marrow and and abdomen and the right side of my neck, had surgery there and 8 rounds of R chop. Plus4 bone marrow biobsies. Then Dec. 23, 09 I had Zevalin which is a radioimmuntherapy. So thank the Lord I have been in remission since then, but it somehow never leaves your mind. Have other health issues but coping as best I can. Thank you for following me. Would love to hear from you. I wish you well, Hilde

      Hi, again,
What a shame that the lymphoma returned after nearly 5 years in remission! I am so glad to read that you are back in remission.
If you don't mind my asking, why did your doctors not give you RCHOP back in 2004? Was it not yet the standard of care?
I am so glad you found us. It is so nice to be able to communicate with others that 'get it'.

You know I haven't a clue, but they did give me 22 radiation treatments and of course the surgery. I have been having such a dry mouth all the time , has that affected you this way?
I am very fortunate so far. But have my issues. But then who doesn't. My problem is you always think the worst right of way. Glad to hear from you and I wish you a great weekend. Hilde
