Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): Stage IV is devastating and very hard to deal with mentally and physically, but faith in God gives me hope.
I've had 12 infusions of Gemzar and Taxol. Tumors have shrunk a little. Dr changed me to taxotere and it's pretty brutal. I've had one infusion and my 2nd one is this Thursday, July 14.

That is sucky. The old oncologist told me I was stage 4 over the phone while I was driving. It was crappy. I hoping you’ve come to the point that you realize it’s just a number. If you’re feeling ok and can still live and enjoy life then their number doesn’t matter. God’s the only one that knows when we’ll leave this earth. Thank

Hope you’re doing well. They’ve come a long way with some treatments like the targeted therapy using Ibrance. Let us know how your doing. I’m in the same city and frustrated that more is not available here.

What makes some metastatic camcer inoperable and others operable? I just read where someone with axillary lymph nodes were removed by surgery. I was told that what I have is also inoperable.

Are you metastatic from an original cancer? Would you mind sharing what you've done so far.

Procedure or Surgery (Breast Reconstruction (Implant)): Waited five years (2010) before having reconstruction. Having expander after radiation was extremely painful. Doctor did not follow what we discussed.

Radiation (External radiation ): I didn't burn too bad. If I'd had double mastectomy, I wouldn't have had to have radiation.
