Procedure or Surgery (Implant chemotherapy port): I told the interventional radiologist not to use surgical glue as I have an allergy to it. She did anyway and I had a massive, painful chest rash for two weeks requiring multiple cortisone injections to the chest.

Procedure or Surgery (Surgery): Had a skin graft for gaping wound left after skin died on underside of one breast. Needed to speed healing to begin chemo.

Oh No (Found out pathology showed Her2+ cells so will need chemo (12 weeks) and herceptin (one year). Original biopsy showed only ER+, PR+): Still a shock and frustrating emotionally as I was still having surgical complications from the bilateral mastectomy and subsequent skin graft. Exhausting and now needed to add chemo to the mix.
