I am the wife of the patient. Sweet child, I pray that The Lord take command of this sickness, that your doctors and team of professionals have God’s inspired wisdom when they proceed in their care. May God continue to wrap you in his protection and give you time to keep growing in faith and in strength.

I did not do the chemo after the surgery. I kept having this still small voice tell me not to do it and when I agreed, small things kept coming up to delay the chemo (abscessed spider bite that required medical care , bad cold, sprained foot,etc.). The onc didn't push but let me know that cancer could recur , but ultimately it was my decision. I had "peace" or "some-type of spiritual contentment" when I finally decided against additional chemo. I just " knew" not to have the additional chemo. My spirit, life, soul, and check-ups are in harmony. I will have been cancer free for 6 yrs. in March.

I have 4 more rounds to go and it is hard to think of 2 more more months of this misery. I would actually like to quit now, but I have a very determined family with all of their 'rah rah' slogans pushing me to finish. The chemo started out innocent enough, but has gotten worse each session.
I began treatment as a 'whole' person able to get around and do things. I am now pretty much reduced to a vegetable sitting in a wheelchair. I am betting on whether the chemo or the cancer will kill me first.
