Diagnosed with Stage 0 Cancer DCIS on the right breast in December. My surgery is scheduled for Jan. 24th. with reconstructive breast surgery. I have been reading and many women chose to remove both breast. My Dr. did not suggest that procedure to me. He said the left breast looked fine. Should I consider having both breast remove? So confused!
Oh No (Diagnosed): Dr. calls me on the phone to inform me that the biopsy is positive ... it's cancer. My response ... are you kidding me? It's still seems so surreal! Surgery is scheduled on January 24th to remove the right breast with reconstructive surgery. The waiting has been terrible. I have no idea what to expect.
