Welcome from Georgia. I am so sorry that you are facing this diagnosis and treatment. I live in Middle GA and am a Stage IV rectal cancer survivor - six years from diagnosis. Don't give up hope - ask questions. There are many of us who are long-term stage IV survivors.

I wanted to give you a word of encouragement. I have a dear friend (cancer exercise buddy) who has had multiple myeloma for 14 years. She's had long periods of remission and currently gets just one infusion a month. I am a 6-yr Stage IV survivor. There is hope. Best wishes to your family.
