I guess I just need to vent a little. Since Nov, 2012 I have had 3 surgeries: partial colonectomey(emergency), lumpectomy and just now ventral hernia repair from the first surgery. Throw in the rads and I am sooooo tired of being sick and tired and sore. I have tried to keep an upbeat attitude about it all but gosh darn it all, how much can a body take? I am an very active person and it is really hard to take things slow to allow for healing. What to do?

Sorry you're feeling a little beat up. How about posting this on the questions page, you will get lots of help on it over there.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Hormone therapy): I feel lucky as I have been taking Letrozole for 3 mos. now and side effects have been minimal. Some hot flashes and occasional hand/joint pain. All of it tolerable.

I too was doing some weights and planks to strengthen upper body. I had a right lumpectomy the end of March and am finishing rads in 4 more sessions. I developed horrible pain in my right shoulder. I didn't know which doctor to see. I ended up seeing my primary care who said I have biceptal tendinitis and ordered PT. I am taking ibuprofen and feeling better. No lifting until I go back to PT next week for exercises. I guess I overdid it. I have had some stretching in my right forearm since the lumpectomy which is worse now.
