There is a whole lot of hurry up and wait in the cancer journey. Be patient, hard to do I know.

Janis posted an update
Today is Round 4 TAC. Neulasta tomorrow. I'm hoping my UTI I got Tuesday night won't cause any delays. I've been on Bactrim since then and I'm feeling great today. I'm ready to get this going... then only 2 left! I'm also anxious to see if they will do a PET scan after 5 or 6. I want to know what the chemo has accomplished. And I'm anxious to see what surgery recommendations are going to be, as well as radiation. My genetic test came back negative, so that's good. My surgeon says "lets just focus on one procedure at a time". I need to remember to do that because there is just so much to think about. I tend to do that more when I feel good!

Hi, Lauriezo! I'm new here, too and we are close to the same age and stage! I just wanted to drop by and wish you well. Which did you have first... surgery or chemo? I'm just curious. If you need any help updating your journey, I can help! I'm pretty good with those "newbie" questions! I'm sure everyone else would be willing to help, too. I've learned the more update your "journey" is, the more we know and can offer support. Hope you have a "good" day!

As far as our diagnosis, we don't have a lot in common, but we are both fairly new here! I can help you get around at a beginner's level And I have a good ear and shoulder for anyone going through this. When were you diagnosed?
