    Celebration (Finished treatment): Living a more fulfilled life now .Prioritized the things that really matter to me.
    Have had grandchildren.
    No linger snore. Dry mouth teaches you to sleep with your mouth closed.
    Do a bit more traveling.
    Don't work as much. But did come to appreciate work more.
    Help others more often.
    Do things for total strangers.

    Side Effects (Nausea/Vomiting): When being treated for head and neck cancer the side effectts are numorous and differ from patient to pateint.
    I had constpation from the many pain medicines and other medications i was on. After a while i found the pain to be more tallerable than the side effects from medication.
    Depression,( nothing like a cleen P E T scan to cure that one.) Eating problems (could not for4 months, then had to rehab to learn to swallow again. Fatique (Always tired) Hot flashes( subsided a couple of months after treatment was over ) Jaw damage (permanat lower slight lower jaw pain,sometimes locks up. Mouth dryness,( need water to be able to eat many types of foods) Nerve damage,(causes numbness in my face and lower back, do to the neck disection) Radiation caused permanant damage to my thyriod gland. Began to take medicine to control that about 2 years after treatment. Nausea subsided 2 mounths after treatment. Some other on going sie effects are as follows.
    Sensitve skin in the radiated area
    Partial hearing loss
    Optic nerve damage causing a klaucoma to be developed in my right eye
    Lowered emune system,(get ill easily now.)
    Heat sensitvity
