I have had my CA125 move up or down at whim... but I was told by my oncologist that one must look at the number in context with what is happening in our lives... infection, stress...etc. may cause slight movement of numbers... that 30 and under are good numbers.... The test is not a predictor of problem of and by itself...

I met a woman last weekend at a dog show who said her CA 125 went up due to a bout of flu. Apparently a lot of things can affect CA125 levels so don't get too freaked out about it.

My oncologist is also tracking my HE4 levels - that's a other tumor marker that's significant for ovarian cancer survivors. You might ask about getting that test too.

I'm laughing now, thinking of three women, total strangers at the start of the day, at a dog show talking about their ovarian/uterine cancer experiences. It was actually very reassuring for me as the youngest one to see these long term (21 years and 16 years) survivors.
