Yes, I have received two Keytruda infusions and had pain in the legs especially at night. This might be related to the edema of feet and ankles and to the related skin infection of the legs and ankles that led to my being in the hospital for three days. Antiobiotics have calmed the skin infection (cellulitis).
My recent brain MRI reveals an ominous "pumping up"of my tumors, but the docs say that might be the Keytruda working on them and getting them angry. So I will continue the infusions, and we will wait and see.
I need more home care for fatigue. My oncologist says I cannot live alone and need assisted living. Since I do in fact live alone, this presents problems, but I do have long-term care insurance that provides some home care, so I am getting by with that and with help from friends and family.

I just had dose eight and have the same side effects for the duration, joint discomfort, some muscle soreness and fatigue. I am also having memory problems. The scans are looking good so I can deal with the side effects. I did notice that when I got a cold or virus from my kids that it was much worse than normal--don;t know if it is related.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Immunotherapy): It's been awhile since I updated my page. I'm now 10 treatments into Keytruda or PD1 with my 11th coming this Thursday afternoon. I'm still NED with three clear scans under my belt where the tumor is shown dead and still shrinking. My side effects have been minimal so far and have been confined to my skin, I'm broken out like a high school kid right before prom, and to some general fatigue. otherwise doing well.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Immunotherapy): I finished up my treatment with the Yervoy on January 22. The first treatment wasn't really big deal, the second treatment was a little more intense on the side effect side, I wound up with chest pains, a fever and chills over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and had to be taken to the ER for pain meds and fluids. The third treatment I was the worst because I came down with the Flu a couple days after the treatment, that was the worst I've ever felt in my life, I thought I was going to die a couple times, but finally came through it ok. The fourth and final treatment wasn't as bad as the third but I was still sick for a couple of weeks after and it lingered on longer than the other times.
Unfortunately The remaining tumor in my Lymph node remains and and had actually grown a little over the last PET scan a couple of months ago. Not sure how I feel about it growing bigger part of me says that this is just another speed bump on the road to being cancer free another part of me is scared to death that even though this is a very non aggressive melanoma that it is going to be tougher to kill than others.
So now I begin the next phase of my treatment Keytruda.
