Congratulations on your 6+ years of survivorship. I received Carboplatin along with Taxotere and Herceptin every 3 weeks. I was never sick one time, and I worked everyday. Everyone reacts differently. I do have neuropathy in my feet, but I don't know which drug is responsible for that. Did your doctor tell you why they were changing your treatment? Let us know how you are doing and how we can help you. Good luck. Take care.

I had the same cocktail as Beachbum for my HERS2+ breast cancer. Keep taking the anti nausea drugs as long as prescribed, I felt so good I stopped early and it was the only time I was nauseous. I took a week off after each of 6 chemos to recover and worked the rest of the time. My port was super helpful. Good luck.

Different type of cancer, but I had Carboplatin & Taxol. The lasting side effect is peripheral neuropathy. I had very little nausea (but took my meds as directed), lost my hair, had severe foot, ankle & lower leg pain that was really bad only 2 days after getting the infusion. I worked through chemo, missing only 2 days other than treatment or doctor days.
