Welcome! Lots of great people on this site. My husband is currently under going treatment and I update like crazy. He too is going to be having RPLND in June/July after he finishes his chemo. I hope you find everyone's stories useful.

A strong fellow, going through a lot, but he will prevail. Glad to see he's doing well.

I did these same things LOL. I was sitting in a meeting with someone during one of my off weeks, I was about to leave her office so I grabbed a chunk of my beard, sat it on her desk and walked out. I thought it was funny. Yes...I cleaned her desk for her.

Hey! Just wanted to check in on you. I haven't had an opportunity to see how you are doing and how your surgery went. Call, email, or message me. Work isn't the same without you around.

Other Care (Referred to the Specialist Specialist): We had our appointment with our oncologist this Tuesday and he has referred us to a "Specialist Specialist". We have an appointment in May to go to Tampa, FL to see a surgical oncologist at the Moffitt Center for a second opinion and consultation. I must say that our oncologist is amazing because he referred us before we even had an opportunity to ask to see the surgeon that was going to be cutting up my husband in June.

Dear Jennymichaels -- Have now read all your post and you are one strong woman -- a new baby and a husband with cancer. My hat is off to you and all you and your husband have been through. My son, who lives in Sarasota, is also Stage III-C with mets to lungs/lymph nodes. Please keep me updated on this dr. in Tampa; so far, the care in Sarasota has been amazing but I like all the info I can get. His significant other, is his primary caregiver, and I am his Mom here in Nashville. If you know of ANYTHING I can do to make things easier for them, please don't hesitate to let me know. I have provided new extra sheets because of his sweating/then freezing after chemo and have new towels to take down. If you don't mind me asking, does your husband talk about all this; my son is pretty closed lipped. Hang in there; I know its gonna get better for both of them.
